Need to get the battery of my samsung phone replaced and noticed that carphone warehouse do same day replacements.
If anyone has used their service before, do they factory reset the phone before changing the battery?

No need to factory reset to change a battery .
But it does depend upon model .0 -
Model is galaxy s7. Just asking as a friend who took theirs to a samsung store got told they needed to factory reset the phone before opening it up for data protection reasons.0

- Back up your phone
- Remove any screen locking passcode
- If you have an iPhone with 'Find My iPhone' (FMIP) enabled, either disable it, or have the password available
- Remove any Micro SD storage card (if applicable)
