Unwanted Page When Booting Up Smartphone

A few days ago, I started to get an unwanted page of adverts whenever I switch on my smartphone. OK, I can 'remove' the page, as there is a button to 'touch' at the top right hand corner of the screen, 'pressing' which results in the phone moving on to the home page, but it is annoying to have to do this. If you click on this link, on a desktop or laptop if you like, you will see the offending page.

As you will see, there is a google search line on part of the page, so might this be something to do with google?

Does anyone know how to stop this annoying page appearing on switch on?

Any help or suggestions gratefully received.
