Using Mobile Tether For Broadband

Hi All,
I left Virgin recently after becoming fed up with their rising prices and elusive customer service.
I'm now looking at broadband options and am tempted by the possibility of using my mobile as a tether/personal hotspot via this 3 deal.
https://3g.co.uk/unlimited-data-plans
It's £20 a month and would give me all the mobile minutes and texts I need too.
What are the drawbacks of this sort of deal? Presumably the download speeds will be a lot slower than Virgin.
Anything else to take into account?
Thanks.

Unlimited doesn't always mean unlimited! It would be worth calling and getting full details about what they are offering. Some company's offer a certain amount of data at a certain speed (eg 4g), and then the rest at a lower speed (such as 3g). Some throttle depending on network demand. I'm not saying that this is the case here, but it would be worth checking.0
