Wow, can't believe this year is almost over! Well done to everyone that has managed to save. i wanted to save until my pot is full, and i know i have been stashing around £10 per week into it but it still isnt full! im going to join the new £2 coin 2020 thread, but try to do both a new pot and this current one until it is full. its one of those types you have to use a can opener to get into so not sure how much they hold but must be over £500! its going to be split and put into the kids accounts however much it is!

Hi Gem-gem/2019 £2 savers. Sorry for the delay in posting as I've not been too well. Anyway, a week or so ago, I did receive another plain £2 coin in my shopping change. My total saved so far is now £64.

Gem-gem, thanks for your message (post # 408) regarding Xmas shopping habits and who shops. (I was reflecting upon how winter weather combined with my use of a bicycle makes me reluctant to go out).

Best Wishes Xmas Season/New year all!
  • Glad you are feeling a bit better Dannie. And well done on the £2 coin :o.

I swapped some £1 coins with hubby on Christmas Eve to secure two little gold gems and then got one yesterday when we went to a fun dog show.
