Four more £2 coins over the weekend. Three plain and one Charles Dickens. All courtesy of hubby.

Hi, it's ages since I posted on here, but I've currently got £60 saved! It's been a difficult year, so I'm happy with that xx

Thanks for your message last Wednesday Gem-gem.

It always seems "unusual" for me to obtain any £2 coins, especially the picture ones! Additionally, my shopping trips are perhaps less now this time of the year.

No £2 coins received since my last post.
  • Hi everyone .. back on MSE forum after a very long time away and looking for challenges to help me save. I have been saving my £2 coins for this year for Christmas spending can I tag on the end for this year? :)

    Hi Dannie,
My friend and I always get our Xmas shopping done early so that we can avoid the crowds. Luckily hubby does 99% of the food shopping.

    1 x £2 coin yesterday
    2 x £2 coins today
    All plain.

    Hi All,
I have just set next years £2 savers club up. I has been asked by MSE Molly to set it up earlier this year. I know that some people run from Dec - Dec or Nov - Nov for Christmas. Feel free to sign up and either to keep posting on here or on the other one. I will still post on here for a while.

  • Hi.. I feel such a sense of achievement after going through all the coins I've found. I had another 4 x £2 coins yesterday so to add that to my £78 worth that I have saved this year I'm not doing too badly. I'm going to do my best not to raid the stash this year and put it towards next years winter weekend trip away as we usually go end of November somewhere - think it is Italy next year :) (My partner drives off-road trialing and we are Team Leaders for Wales - he says it's not as an expensive hobby as my horses *eyeroll!!!)
