At last, a £2 "plain" coin received in my shopping change yesterday. It was a big gap since 6/7/19!

Total collected so far/2019 = £46.

I think they come in waves dannie. None for ages and then they seem to be everywhere.

3 more for me - all courtesy of my lovely hubby :j. And it’s bingo tonight so hopefully find at least one there. Only time will tell:T

I initially decided to not "create situations" so as to collect £2 coins more rapidly, so it has slowed down things.

I pay cash wherever possible as I have a set budget each week.

Now whilst it's brill to get some of the little gold beauties, it does reduce my remaining budget so there's a high and corresponding low. But still can't help getting excited when I get another one!

Went Mr T's this afternoon and scooped another two from the self service, both safely potted :j

Hi all, we've been away for a week staying at my sis house and I got 2 plain coins in my change which I've now put in my pot - thinking/hoping it's reached the £100 total by now.... I am saving them up to spend on the festive season Deni x

Hi, everyone sorry I haven't posted for ages. I am still collecting, we decided to use the saved up coins for our spending money on holiday. We had about £400 so was well worth saving. Have started again for next year and potted another yesterday.
