O/S Daily Saturday 22nd December 2018

Two DDs popped round this morning and helped me put lights on the Christmas tree and then went off to look round the shops together.

I put red and gold ornaments on the tree and it looks all right to me but dds may want to improve on it. Youngest has brought a load of laundry so one load has been washed and is in the tumble drier and another load is finishing in the washing machine.

Most of the things I want have arrived but might pop out later to the local shop to make something for tonight. I don't know if dds will have already eaten so don't want to cook something that won't be needed as space is tight in the fridge.

Regards to Holly and I hope she has a good Christmas and starts to feel a bit better.

Just realised an hour ago that I had not had breakfast so had a couple of slices of toast. Might have a mug of soup to keep me going till I know what is wanted for tonight's meal.

I'm in with the Xmas house too. I'll have to fly though as I don't travel well on the roads, by car or coach. Perhaps I can hitch a ride with the man in red :rotfl:.

Cranky I laughed at the HT jumping when the toast is done . I have been known to do that too, especially first thing in the morning when I'm still half asleep .
-taff you just burst my balloon !..... I thought we would be going this year . I was just about to pack my case :rotfl:.
Anyone " seen " Olliebeak or MrsSD lately ? Hope they are ok and just busy

Just wanted to report bra buying was successful and they removed the VAT at the till too....I am no longer visually a monoboob in clothes....happy bunny
Gers, we could descend on you but it'll be a bit small I think judging by the yays. I did have a sneaky look on line, the one I quite fancied was 24,000 to rent [cough cough, how much!!], but it was frequented by the royal family in shooting season apparently, and it is catered as well, so not even any cooking, so as soon as I win the lottery, I will be bookng...And I really truly mean that

NAN I don't think I have seen OLLIE around for a little while but I think I noticed MRS SD on the hate waste thread earlier. Hope OLLIE is ok and just too busy to post. And still no sign of SILVER OLDIE and LAINEY. xx

Busy day today with work but had a nice relaxing evening watching Airplane! Love that film. Day off tomorrow then working Christmas Eve then off for 2 days. I’m all organised for Christmas and all shopping done thank goodness.
