UKPC parking charge advice

Hi Guys,
Need some quick advice if you don't mind, Ive just got a parking charge from UKPC for parking in a shops car park without a permit. I only ran in for 5 mins and didn't see any signs, only after reviewing my dashcam footage i can see the signs about 8 foot high on the wall and not very big. I've tried to read up on it but there's a lot of info, my main question is do the wardens have to give a 10 min grace? According to the BPA website they do but it doesn't say if its covered for not having a permit.
Thanks
H

Read post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ stick thread.
The vehicle keeper should send the blue text template appeal found there.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations necessary.
Do not divulge the driver's identity.
That's all there is to it at this stage.0
