The 63 mb upgrade is from Sky as part of their upgrade plans until Spring2019.
My local exchange is 78MB capable.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -
With fibre (to the cabinet) your speed is dependant on the distance from your property to the local Fibre cabinet. So just because Sky say their plan will allow for up to 63 meg it doesn't mean you'll see a speed increase - the line length doesn't change when they make a profile change on your account.0

Exchange I think is top of road, though I'll re search.
I'll post again when I see some sort of increase when upgrade is implemented, though I'm not expecting 63 maybe50MB+
Quick search my flat is 1.3 miles from exchange.
Interestingly the cabinet is since FTTP enabled (not what sky are offering as yet) though could become future tech consideration.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

Thanks I remember talking to some people who had what you describe.
Not a job I would try with B.T. Master socket.
Could Filtered face plate possibly mean higher fibre speeds considering I've been running approx 10MB less since install.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

What do I need to change in addition to fitting the new faceplate to ensure both Master socket+extension sockets work.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

Thanks @Norman ca
That means according to vid -My extension can still be used unfiltered with landlineTel
I'll need a slightly longer power extension which can run from router behind sofa to power socket.
As much as I'de like to hide master socket cable, I'll try the simple route 1st to avoid and finer snipping.
Seems straight forward, though I think almost 99% that my master socket looks to be the older single socket type the wires are almost sunk in when face plate is removed -maybe it was a replamcent over top of previous master socket.
Interesting as some of the comments suggest users gaining considerable speed increases (which I didn't get by filtering the single socket)Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0
