Excel Parking County Court Claim form

A Skeleton Argument should be a basic aide memoir of bullet-points that you would like to cover should the Judge provide you the opportunity.
It should look more like a list of ingredients rather than a whole recipe. It isn’t an extra chance to add to/embellish the Defence and WS already submitted.
It should be forwarded to the court and claimant’s solicitors a few days before the hearing, probably best when/if submitting your cost schedule.
Okay fair point, I was intending to submit the above with my witness statement to be honest. however it seems like a skeleton argument has been used to separate legal points from a witness statement in other cases mentioned on this forum (such as forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=72047642#post72047642).
Do you reckon I can't use this information then? Seems mad that the parking firm can fill their statement with legal things but I can't find some of my own to back up my case.
Thanks for your help.0 -

I’m just giving you my opinion. What has been used previously doesn’t necessarily make it correct or change my view. Did that thread conclude with a result and whether the SA had any impact?
I’m not saying you can’t use the stuff you’re proposing to put in your SA, and I understand what PPCs do, but if you’re intending to ‘fill your statement with legal things’, make sure you understand them so that, if necessary, you can explain how your case is impacted.
There’s no defined ‘right or wrong way’ for much of this, so go with that with which you are comfortable. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Okay thanks thats really good advice. I understand what you're saying. Thanks for pointing that out about the post too, if I'm reading correctly, no the skeleton argument didn't help. I want to use a legal basis for rebutting the claim but I will streamline it to what I actually understand.0 -

NEWBIES - HOW TO UPLOAD LINKS TO PHOTOS/SCANS TO MSE
To upload a photo/scan link, you first need to host it on a free photo hosting site (like Dropbox, Imurg or Tinypic), copy the URL, paste it here, but change the http to hxxp and we'll do the conversion. Newbies can't directly upload links to photos/scans until they've a few posts under their belt.Ralph
