Hi Gers and everyone else reading the later posts,
I've had a lovely day
. Scrabble was fun, followed by a walk into town and a browse round - I realised I need a few more Christmas cards so the PDSA and BHF shops provided what I needed. I bumped into a friend and ended up having a bowl of soup in a very nice cafe with her and then walked back home enjoying seeing many lit Christmas trees in Georgian bay windows en route, enchanting and very Christmassy.
So a bit of slippage, wrapping is now tonight's task, and delivering will happen tomorrow morning. The cat's currently purring on my knee but she'll have to budge soon when I heat up tonight's meal - a reprise of last night's stir fried mince and savoy cabbage with harissa, nice and warming.
