  • Hey all,

Sorry I've been lacking in the posts quite a bit.

TBH I haven't been that great with the savings but I promise to do better and record every £0.50 that comes my way.

How are you all getting on?

Will be posting a new 2020 thread in December and I am aiming to save every one I get next year.

    Dxxx
  • Hiya Dolly,

You beat me to it, I was just thinking that with the 20p challenge.

I have been saving these and have also managed to bag a few rare ones this year which won't get spent.

Definitely count me in for next years thread xx

count me in too! Ive not posted but I decided to save all my silver (not just 50p's) and have got a grand total of £123 so far! Not bad for 'loose change'! I have also got a few rarer ones that I would never had noticed if I hadn't been saving them).
    lovin' this site!

  • Fab!

    That's an amazing amount.

I've got a nice big old coffee jar that my Mum brought me from her work so my aim is to fill that.

It is quite big but I am going to do it!!

Mine will be filled with £0.50, £1.00 and £2.00 though so that will help.

I also save the rest of my change in one of those huge plastic cola bottles, think I will be just about retired when that's full :rotfl:

What you gonna do with your savings?

    Dxxx

I save mine in a 1kg Nutella jar! Ive emptied it once and am on the second 'batch".
I intend to use it for my nephews Christmas presents.
Yours should add up pretty quickly if you are saving those coins!
