Maybe I'm not normal, but I always pay for my car insurance with a credit card, and have NEVER accepted a continuous payment authority to be set up when doing so.
Admittedly, it is often asked for, and indeed some insurers are more forceful than others in their request, but when it comes down to whether they want my monkey or not - they have always agreed to a single payment authority only.
But I think you missed the point ... or opted not to see it...:cool:0
