Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Ok, I'll admit that this isn't very MSE - encouraging buying an expensive phone on a contract deal - but if you're a heavy smartphone user after the latest and greatest, there are some stonking deals on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on mobiles.co.uk at the moment.

30GB data, unlimited calls/texts, 24 month contract on O2.

£25 up front.
£38 per month.
£150 cash back from Samsung.
£60.60 cash back through Topcashback

Total cost £726, or the equivalent of £30 per month. Considering this is less than the phone retails for sim-free in most places, the fact it includes 30GB data makes it a bargain in my eyes. There are even cheaper deals with lesser amounts of data, but they need a bigger payment up front and the total cost works out only ever-so-slightly cheaper.

I was going to upgrade on EE, but they couldn't get within £30 a month of this deal.
