    Hi All,

I'm new here and hope I'm not too late to join in. I have a card which I wish to pay off by early next year, as that is when its 0% period ends- however, I've always had a personal target to get it gone by the end of the year, so I'd like to join in if I'm not too late :o

If that is OK with everyone, I'd like to start with todays balance please :D

    £0 / £2300

    many thanks in advance :)

    #110 paid off the debt!!!
    7293 final settlement.

Thanks to a combination of two lots of contract work for a local authority finally being paid. I always knew they would eventually pay but it took a long time and I kept doing work for them (LA I figured they would pay at some point, probably a bit naïve) so when it came in finally, it came in as a lump sum. I also needled at my other half to let me use our savings to clear the debt. It's gone and even though we have virtually no savings I feel so much better for seeing it go.
Thank you everyone on these boards for helping me have a lightbulb moment and not drift aimlessly onwards.

    Good luck everyone

    May I join please?

I have £5,643 to pay off by the end of the year. I've done well so far and have cleared off 2 debts but there's still 5 creditors left.

    Thanks

    Hi Folks,

    #7 checking in.

Haven't been here in a few weeks due to work commitments but I've been paying money to debts in the background and have even started doing a payment a day, which I read about on here.

Anyway, I have been making great progress in the background and following today's payment, I've managed to pay off 5,950 since 26 December.

I've also recently been informed of another bill I had forgotten about, which I'm throwing into this challenge, so I'm going to increase my target from 18,250 to 20,075.

I'll update my signature after this post, but would appreciate if you could update my total on your spreadsheets, Muppets :)

Congrats folks, I've taken a half hour today to read through some of the posts. We're all doing fantastically well :T
Updated :j It will appear on the front page in the next day or 2
