  • I paid £800 off my Halifax overdraft today Don't have the £800 so it was sort of a rob Peter to pay Paul but I need to close the Halifax account the daily interest has seen my charges double from £30 a month to over £60. I'm counting this towards my debt because as long as I don't eat and nothing breaks for a a month it'll hold yay yay

  • In total shock today to pay £961.47 today - 3 times Mortimer Clarke sent me a letter offering to pay a full and final settlement which is around 40% of the full debt of £2403.68 I think. I’ve got a larger than normal UC payment because of not doing as much self-employed work in Dec due to school holidays. That’s the short of it! Borrowed 360 against a new invoice I’ll be getting from a friend that’s offered interest free- I’m not updating the total properly until I get the letter in 2 weeks time saying it’s settled- it’s a a CCJ in 2018 so will still be on credit file but still pretty amazing. Still won’t believe it until I’ve paid friend back and that letter comes...

    961.47/5448.69 I think...
