Well done Abba - that's an amazing total to have paid off! :)

I've put an extra payment to my CC this morning - so now £1,300 left to pay, and have paid off the following this year:

    #04 - £2,861 / £4,161

    #148 - £3,160/£4,782

Paid £77 towards my target today. I think I'm going to have to adjust my target as I don't think I'm going to get a further £1600 paid off in this short space of time...not with the bills I've got coming up. I would like to get to £3,782....leaving only £1k outstanding. That would be a great acheivement. :)

Been a little while since I posted, I have just come back from a holiday which has been a bit of a bruiser in terms of the finances. The worst of it will be on next month's credit card statement so I do have a bit of breathing space for now. But now that the holiday is over I want to focus on reaching the target by the end of the year, and you guys completing your goals is really inspiring! abba1772, you are particularly inspiring, with your perpetual chirpiness and your perpetual chipping away at your goal - many congratulations to have finally made it!

A previous housemate keeps asking me for money - it's a little strange as I moved out six months ago and now live in a different country, but he does always pay it back before requesting to borrow a similar amount a couple of weeks later. Since I'm always accepting potentially not getting back any money I loan out, when I do get it back I am sending a large proportion to the debt.

Unfortunately I accidentally made a purchase on the Tesco card as it was linked through PayPal, so the debt ticks up by £25, but helpfully its balance is now below £1,000 so with a concerted effort I can get that clear in the next three months.

    #173 Paid £140 = £2,920.18 / £5,938
