Swagbucking into 2019... Nearly ;)

Hi Swaggernauts, There is an issue with the current Swago Board that is not giving Spins for certain squares. Unfortunately we can't resolve the issue so we are going to credit all members who have joined Swago with 100 Spins. The spins will be credit to your account by 5pm PT Friday, January 25th. You will have until 11:59pm PT Monday January 28th to use all your spins.

Trying to get back into SB and have almost done enough on the swago to be able to submit for the 50SB (I rarely bother with the referral boxes).
I've still to colour the redeem your SB for a gift card box, which is why I thought to ask here. I have enough SB to get a gift card, so that's not an issue.

Normally I've just opted for amazon vouchers, but I noticed that just now both Mastercard and Zeek seem to be a bit better value than going for an amazon voucher (was looking at the £10 cards - 1300 for Mastercard or Zeek, compared to 1440 for amazon).
However I've no idea how to go about using either Mastercard or Zeek, so hope that someone can advise so that I can decide which is the best option for me.

I was on the losing team and I see there's an item "January 2019 Team Challenge - 50 SB Bonus" in my Swag Ups. How do I earn this?

My referral friend was on the winning team and she just got 100SB credited - she doesn't think she ever saw it listed as a "Swag Up", though she did just redeem a reward.

Do I need to redeem a reward in order to get the 50SB credited? They really don't make this stuff terribly clear (or am I just dumb?)

I've been getting the Zeek. Just go to Zeekshop.com and register. Then when the gift card arrives, you just apply it to your Zeekshop account and the value sits in there until you decide to buy another gift card with it. They don't have amazon, though, so if you want that, better to go with Mastercard. There was some explanation in last year's thread, I think, as to how to apply the Mastercard credit to your amazon account.

The swag ups are credited to your account when you redeem a reward (it won't count towards your daily goal though)

Thanks for your reply. Not too bothered if I can't use it at amazon. I just in the past went for amazon as we're always buying something from there, so always tends to get used.
I'll go and have a nosy at Zeek and see where I can use it to see if there are places I'd be buying from anyway.
And will also see if I can find that info on how to apply Mastercard credit to an amazon account in case I decide on that option.
But both sound viable, so thanks for the info.

I'm sorry I don't know anything about Zeek, I was in exactly the same position as you and I needed a lot of help from the brilliant people on this site, to work out how to put the Mastercard on an Amazon account. You redeem your Swagbucks for the Mastercard voucher, then when it's ready you can click on the link in your email and it opens up in a virtual wallet. You log in to this virtual wallet, then every time you redeem another voucher, you repeat the process and your voucher appears in the wallet with the list of cards and the balance each.
The tricky bit is trying to add the voucher to your Amazon account. Amazon need to verify each new Mastercard, to do this it takes at least £1 and you have to wait, usually 11 working days and then you can add the last £1 to your Amazon account. I find it takes more organising, but as it's been said before, it does make a difference over time.
It becomes clearer as you get used to using it, so I hope this makes sense and that I haven't confused you even more.

Thanks for the info. I think I understand what you're saying about how to use if I want to add to amazon. Guess I can always try it out and see if it works how I think from what you've described.

My current thoughts are perhaps to try both out and see how I get on. Don't quite have enough SB for one of each, but should have in a few days if I keep at SB.

There is something I'm thinking of buying from Argos, so could use the Zeek card towards that. And can try the Mastercard and loading it to amazon. Or do people sometimes use it for other things? Does it act like regular payment as in a prepaid credit/debit card?

When you redeem for a voucher the 50SB swagup will be added to your account. It wont count towards your daily goal but will be added to your total.

I would recommend waiting until you have used the 100 spin and wins due later in the week before redeeming in case you win a big swagup from that.
