There are 7 apps not 6, list below, they do still work but you are right the SB have been reduced over the last year and you need to play more videos to get a credit. There are often bonus rounds, particularly on Mobile Watch (from the Swagbucks App) and Sportly: The Mobile Watch app pays 10 SB per day (for 5 rounds), the others all pay 4 SB for 2 rounds as standard.

    Apps List:
    Sportly
    EntertaiNow
    SB Watch
    Movie Cli.ps
    IndyMusic
    Lifestylze
Swagbucks Watch (via the Swagbucks App)

Not every app has a "short clips" category and even if they do they are not necessary the quickest thing to run - finding a short clip on each app and making it a "favourite" is usually best - for instance SB watch has a short clips section where they range from 12 to 58 seconds so just add the 12 second clip to favourites (car crashing into bath store) and that will just repeat the same as any clips section.

(for many months with the apps you could earn 140 SB daily without including any bonus rounds and £5 Amazon vouchers were only 620 SB = £5 in less than 4.5 days - Now earn 34 SB, voucher 720 = £5 in just over 21 days!)

That is depressing! Thanks I didn’t realise you could add a favourite again, I will try that! Sportly just didn’t have lists of the videos it was just a screen with boxes, I will try it again today :)

I read on here about ways to boost income and someone earning huge amounts of money on Swagbucks so I signed up.

I keep getting asked the same questions a few times in the same survey then it tells me I'm not suitable and gives me 1 point. I thought I'd try watching 6 videos to get points and it only gave me 2 points so that was a waste of about 15 minutes of my life.

I also feel a bit concerned about the information I'm giving it. If I click "prefer not to say" to my salary range the survey ends.

It seems like one big con to me. The only honest survey company I've found is Yougov as it actually allows you to complete all surveys it gives you, although sadly those surveys are not that frequent.

On the verge of deleting Swagbucks, and hoping my personal details will be deleted too. Thought I'd create this forum posting 1st...

Letting your personal details go is part and parcel of pretty much every survey site. Clearly for everyone what they deem is acceptable is different - but in many years of doing surveys, I cannot say I have ever had anything come back to me.

In terms of money making potential, I find Swagbucks lower then some of the other sites - however, the trade off here is that you actually do less. For example we can collect SB from playing videos - its not high because...you are doing diddly squat. You will also collect from instant surveys, codes, and the odd full survey - I do very little of these, as others have said on SB they dont pay particularly well and I do find there is a high chance of screen outs.

It is definitely not a con, but you do need to temper your expectations. Earning cash for doing the thick end of nothing is a win - but you will find better surveys elsewhere, and earn more - eg Prolific, Qmee and even Lifepoints. But if you are going to get fussy about these personal details (lets be honest something like, area, gender....thats like, nothing) then you are going to get considerably less earning potential then otherwise.

I have been getting the £10 Mastercard (as it's "on sale") and then using it to pay a money request from my Paypal account to convert it into cash. I've been doing this for a while, but now it doesn't seem to work any more - Paypal says they're having trouble processing it. Is anyone else who does this having a similar problem?

Ok, now I've just tried to use it to top-up my Amazon account, and they can't process the payment either. Has anyone else had this issue with a Mastercard GC before?

Might be the mastercard people. My only credit card is mastercard and after doing several wrong date Amazon top ups I got a call from their fraud dept asking me to confirm my recent 'unusual' activity on my main account (which wasn't that unusual). Having confirmed, I've recently done another Amazon wrong date top up without issue. So I'd guess contact prepaid solutions to check everything is okay?

I had this once about a month ago and I found that just retrying it a few times straight away and then i tried a few minutes later and eventually it went through.
This time it's not it wouldn't work yesterday or today. Paypal screen says there seems to be a problem, we're sorry we are not able to process your request.

I've been doing the self invoice method but I read on fb gpt genies group that you can try another way. Ask a family member to put on their paypal account by adding a card details and then to send it to you. I haven't got around to asking hubby yet though
