Not sure if it helps anyone but I just tried Hideout again after being banned for months (no idea why!) and at first it still came up with the same message about being ineligible for rewards. I had a couple of linked accounts - Grindabuck and KeepRewarding - but discovered that after unlinking my Grindabuck account somehow I'm now eligible for rewards again and am earning away! At least at the moment!0

Notes:I have found a way around the really (!) annoying Amazon £1 Mastercard issue and will post up the method separately when I have more time. It's linked to the default payment method but it's fiddly.0 -

(About Premiership Football - I don't support Man C or Liverpool which was handy as one of the questions had answer options about would I rather my team was relegated than Man C win , Liverpool win etc)0 -
I have been really frustrated by Amazon's need to keep charging a £1 to authorise pre-paid mastercards which means it's impossible to get rid of the £1 balance. I had a blazing row with them a couple of weeks back - should have saved my breath - like talking to a wall!!! I seem to have stumbled across a solution...
....If the card is your Amazon default payment method they don't seem to seek authorisation. I managed to clear 5 cards this morning but failed on 2 or 3 others. The method is:1. Before you order the card (I use the purchase rather than top-up method) change your default payment card to one of the £1 mastercards.
2. Place your order for a £1 gift card and add to the basket.
3. Go to check-out and commit to pay, check that the payment method showing is the card you have reassigned,
4. If the card details are the new card, commit the purchase and the sale should go through without authorisation.
5. Do the same with any other cards you have in-hand.
The only issue I had in the end is that after successfully sorting 5 cards, the payment method was stuck on a card which was not showing as the default. I tried clearing cookies to no avail but at least the method got rid of 5 cards, it's a start!:)0 -

Thanks, will try that. I gave up requesting mastercard after I got stuck with so many waiting for that annoying pound to be returned.0
