    Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    He is now not replying (or his solicitors aren't) to my solicitors letters and my solicitor (who was recommended by women's aid, so presumably good at their job) says I now have no option but to take him to court. I have tried to be fair and reasonable but it feels like he is trying to bankrupt me.

    Anyway I have no option now other than court and a huge solicitors bill which will have to go on the remortgage.

    Thank you for all help and advice offered, I appreciate any advice or help from others who may have been through similar.

    There's no legal aid for divorce cases unless domestic violence is involved. So, go ahead with the initial stage of Court action - he'll run out of money way before you do.
