Link it to a Nest or Hive. You can then use an app on your phone to control it remotely.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

I use Hive with a Worcester boiler and it is fine. Comes with
    a. Hub to plug into router
    b. Receiver which sits next to and in connected to the boiler
    c. Room thermostat which you can have on the wall or move around as you choose
You can use it remotely via app as well.

OK what room thermostat? I just have the turny things on the radiators.

If you already have TVR on the radiators upgrade to a system that has controllable TVR.

    Honewell and others do them.
  • I have a Tado system, which is similar to Nest/Hive. I love it. The heating is automatically turned off while we are out, and when we start to head home it will come back on. Also, if we've been away for a few days we can turn the heating on remotely so the house has time to warm up before we get back. I think it has probably saved us money in heating bills, as the heating is only on when we need it, and is very easy to turn on/off when required. I paid £200 about 4 years ago for it and we just hooked it up in place of our existing thermostat. I'm not sure what you'd need to do if you don't currently have a thermostat in place though :undecided
