Who are Global Telecom? what relation do they have with E2save?

Hi i have been trying to buy a phone from e2save.com on a chequeback deal. However, my application for a contract was rejected by the O2 network for reasons that O2 would not detail. E2save had told me to contact a company called Global Telecom as an alternative supplier and to quote "Web Order" as this company apparently does a different kind of credit cheque. I suspect this is Global Telecom's website http://www.global-telecom.co.uk as they state a business link with carphonewarehouse who in turn are linked to to e2save.com.

Anyways...Just wondering how this company Global Telecom is gonna get me a contract phone deal? I have never heard of them before. The website i found doesnt mention the selling of mobile phones or network contracts? So how are they going to help me???

If they are a network provider, do they piggy back on someone else's network? What is their customer service & network coverage like?

Anybody out their had any experience, good or bad, using them?

Also wondering if this is going to complicate the chequeback deal to my dis-advantage....

  • Dear Friend,

You can visit the following website,
    http : // globaltelecom.e2save.com/

They are affiliated channel partners of E2Save. I have recently ordered a mobile phone from Global Telecom.

    Thanks,

  • I wouldn't go anywhere near them. Any site which has a complete lack of information about themselves, no obvious t&c on mobile contracts (or any information on mobile contracts) with a n extremely amateurish presentation (apart from being recommended by CPW which is not something to be admired) deserves a VERY long pole with a connection to a barge on the other end. Recommendations from people who appear once on here encouraging someone to use the company also displays a HUGE warning sign.
  • Never heard of them, I would avoid.
Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug). ;)
