Sky HD+ box question

Reference Channel 5 specifically it is not a free channel as far as cable subscribers and decoding boxes are concerned. Some companies have to pay Channel 5 to add it to the list therefore it is one of the first to go if you have cancelled subscriptions for example and also faults that need a valid card and decoder

You're way out of date, no viewing card is required in a Sky box anymore and hasn't for a long while.
  • Very strange, my Sky programmes have returned tonight, so after almost a week of them not being available BBC 1 London, Channel 5, Sky 1, Sky Atlantic and Fox(the main ones I know were not working) are all working again.

That still suggests that there is a problem with your LNB or other wiring connections. Expect the problem to reoccur shortly..

Would appreciate any help before call Sky but have been getting the "your Sky HD box isn't getting a satellite signal" message. I've tried switching everything off and putting on again but no joy.

It is received BBC ITV and some Sky channels but not channels 4 or 5.
We were thinking of adding the £15 Sky Sports offer but obviously want the box sorted first.

Are they likely to make us transfer to Sky Q or is it more likely the dish that will be at fault?

Could you please provide me with a link to £15 sport ?
My contract is up and Sky are trying to get me to sign up at £22 for Entertainment bundle without sport

    Or £36.45 inc just F1
So - if I can get ALL sport for £15 - that is a better deal

Before Christmas we were sent a flyer offering a Festive Offer of all Sky Sports channels £15 a month for 3 years. However it did have a cut off date of 27 December on the flyer and as we then had the signal problem (engineer coming tomorrow) I didn't take it up.

We had been without Sky Sports for a year so I presume that was why we were offered this.

Would you be able to scan the flyer and post it here please ?
I am currently trying to get Sky to offer this to me - but don't have the leaflet
    Thanks

Click on the image in the post by @dannyjones106 just a few posts down on page 2.

This is for people who resubscribe to the TV for 18 months (probably at £20 a month) and only for the person the flyer is addressed to. It also looks like it's expired so good luck in getting it.

Edit: page 1 has more pictures of it.

Unable to locate any deal that expired on Dec 27th - the only £15 sports deal that I can find, expired in September - please check date and confirm.....

I'm sorry I don't still have it but I am sure it ended 27th December. As the engineer wasn't coming until after that date I didn't want to order the package without knowing what was wrong with the dish.

I can just remember it was called a Festive Offer and looked very much like the link in the previous post on hotdeals.
