Flights to Pittsburgh

Whatever you do, do not book with WOW Airlines. they are in a dreadful financial mess and will almost certainly not be flying to Pittsburg by April if indeed they are flying at all. At the beginning of November they had 20 planes, 2 weeks ago they returned 4 to the owners, yesterday they announced another 5 were going back, hundreds of staff were notified of redundancy and they have a sale at ludicrous prices which suggests they are desperate. Of course, if you use a credit card you will get your money back but by then there may be no seats left on alternative carriers, particularly to a destination with very few international flights.

As others have suggested BA will start its fare sale shortly but fares are never low at peak periods around holiday periods and you appear to be looking for seats during Easter week.

I am not claiming psychic abilities but WoW's flights to Pittsburgh will end in January according to a statement from the airline. Of course, that removes any incentive for BA to reduce fares in the sale as there is now even less competition but it is still worth waiting to see what happens
