Car hire - passport or driving license surname

My passport is in my maiden name and I have no intention of changing it until it expires. All other documents including my driving licence are in my married name. I’m flying to Geneva and need to hire a car. Do I book the car hire in my maiden name to match my passport and flight tickets or married name to match my driving license?
Many thanks

They don't ask to see your passport when renting a car. But you will need Photo ID. So if yours is a Driving Licence with a photo, you are in the clear.
So book as on driving licence.

Pretty much everywhere I've hired cars from abroad has asked to see my passport as well as my driving licence (which is a photocard licence).

To take a random example, this is from Sixt Spain's T&C:
At the time of formalisation of the rental contract and at the handover of the vehicle, the renter and any other
person named by the renter as a driver of the vehicle must be present to sign the rental contract before the owner
and to present their driving licence as well as a personal identification card or passport, which must be valid and
currently effective in the country in which the rental takes place.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning
