moving in for 2 weeks - haven't received a single mail !!!

    bit update.. called EA, and asked them to contact previous owner, and asking for our posts.. EA is nice and came back to me pretty straight away, telling us they've set upt 'KEEP SAFE' service, and shall be ONLY under their names those posts would be kept.

    LOOKS LIKE stupid idiot post office has kept ABSOLUTELY everything, NOW, tomorrow morning, first thing, I am going to sorting office to ask for my mail !!!

    Don't assume this. Don't go in there ranting and raving!

    Keepsafe also works on SPECIFIC NAMES at an address. It doesn't hold back ALL the mail at that address.

    You still don't know if anyone has actually written to you.

    I think you mean SHOULD WORK on SPECIFIC NAMES at an address. Royal mail redirection is INTERMITTENTLY successful depending on the efficiency of the local postie, I assume Keepsafe is equally bad.

    The OP sensibly has written to herself as explained in post #5. Writing to oneself being a pretty good way to test the adequacy or otherwise of Royal Mail's efforts.

    hahahaha... sorry,, didn't mean to ignore you :beer: .. I've complained 5 times, and have 5 diffferent complaint reference numbers .....:rotfl: .. anyway, I went to sorting office this morning, and have finally got back my posts -- a pile of them... Apparantly, the post man just ignored the 'NAME' thingy, and have kept ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING.. faint !!!..... well, hopefully, it's now sorted..however, I have a feeling, I will need to go to post office sometime next week to FIGHT again !!.. hahah..:T Thanks, guys !

    Yup.. forgot to mention about my post card - I receive it this morning !...
    that's the only thing I receive after 3 weeks in the new home - hahaha.. funny thing !

    Didn't you learn at school that the best way to get information in is to repeat it in a slightly different format? ;)

    Next time you move follow Shelley's advice. Royal Mail are not allowed to redirect mail twice.
