  • It will be exactly the same PAYG charges as here in any EU country.

I wouldn't say "exactly the same". Calls to EU countries apparently will be cheaper than if calling from UK.

    Where are you going?
Watch out for data charges in Switzerland. 20 pence per MB.
15p per minute calls and 5p per text to EU countries.

A handy hint -have log in details to hand or saved on phone in case you do need a quick top up or to renew a goodybag.
    Back on the trains again!

Calls to EU countries and back to the UK when made from EU countries while roaming are charged the same as if you were calling an equivalent type of UK number from the UK. That's the "same" part of the deal.

Are you saying that calls from France to Germany cost the same as from UK to Germany?
If not, then I insist that it's not "exactly the same".

IMHO, all this is very confusing and illogical because of the Brussels bureaucrats' luck of common sense. Even MSE in their 'guide' can't explain this clearly.

"equivalent" is very confusing too - knowing the mess with numbers in UK alone.
