@Saints1321 - you are more than welcome to contribute here, to put over your version to beleaguered (often extremely vulnerable) motorists, desperately seeking help to find a simple way out of their predicament - without them having to pay a private parking company a penny! That's what they want - a simple silver bullet. Can you deliver? I do hope so.
And hopefully you'll be in for the long-run just like the very small number of dedicated regulars left here are.
Please note that it will take a huge commitment. Are you up for it?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Sorry that was a mistake in the sentence above ** the POPLA assessor did NOT agree with me**.
No, the driver entered the car park and did not make use of any local facilities.
Just a friendly warning for you. Sometimes a person comes on this forum whose agenda is not what you think.

Look forward to seeing your best advice to motorists. Like you, with others here, don't be surprised if there are contra-arguments. All part of the forum self-moderation/levelling of views. If someone gets something 'not quite right', there's a safe environment where others will 'correct' to ensure, as best as possible, the individual is not exposed.Accordingly we should give the best advice for each individual!
Almost all contributions here, day in, day out, are designed to help the individual, desparate for assistance in their hour of need.
If you don't object, allow me to say that we have seen other 'contributors' jumping in here to proffer their seemingly anti-forum views, and like the majority of those, I rather suspect we'll see little more of you some 2-3 weeks down the line.
Maybe you'll prove me wrong? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

However I have already been criticised twice this evening alone by two forum members; firstly it was suggested I must work for a ppc due to my disagreeing with advice and untruths being spouted. The second for not using paragraphs on a post. It would appear that most members of these forums are themselves bullies
One can understand why people might think you are a PPC or involved in the parking scam, maybe a Debt Collector or one of the dodgy legals.
We are not bullies but we do see the bullies pretending to be innocent motorists ?
Using paragraphs is only common courtesy to others
However, what I have read from your posts on here, you will get a reaction from the experienced members if we think you are giving wrong information. Having a pop at experienced members is never a good idea0 -
I get the feeling this thread may have lost its way somewhat ( I haven’t received or responded to a PM incase anyone is wondering) .. is it best to start a new thread? I do now have a genuine concern about losing my defence and having to pay an additional few 100 pounds in court costs, is this warranted in anyone’s opinion?0
-
no , leave this thread in place and add a summary of where you are up to in your next reply, plus any questions you may have
court costs are limited as this is the small claims court so a typical loss is £100 parking charge and about £80 in court costs, anthing costs over that are objected to as "double recovery" or "an abuse of process"
£189.32p was the total sum claimed, including court costs , it says so on your claim form
stick to using this thread and dont assume that everyone is benign , cxheck their post count and the number of thanks they have received and length of time they have been here. you will soon spot the "genuine regulars"0 -
No, we already have an overwhelming number of threads everywhere at the moment. We don't need to be flick-flacking between two threads about the same case.is it best to start a new thread?

In addition to grace periods, if the Vets were shut, (very likely at 21.30), it would have been impossible to register the vehicle anyway.
Read about "impossibility of contract" in Pace v Lengyel here:-

if the vets were shut then it was forbidding signage I would think
and GRACE PERIODS is a major factor in this event
all the OP has to do is decide which year it was in and quote the clause #13 for that year , which is either the 2015 BPA CoP or the January 2018 BPA CoP0 -
Well, how wrong could I be? 2-3 weeks? He didn't even last 24 hours. Completely disappeared. Lord Lucan rides again!.Look forward to seeing your best advice to motorists.
