So to cut a long story short, I'm disputing a default placed on my filed by Lowell (purchased from Orange/EE) for multiple reasons. The default is regarding an account opened in my name almost s decade ago and I'm making a bit of headway whilst they investigate but they want proof of address and specifically asked for a council tax bill or tenancy agreement in my name.
The problem is, I was severely I'll and living with my mother. All o could find for the very specific date they requested is a HMRC document in my mother's name showing she was claiming tax credits for me living at the address.
I requested bank statements covering the period in question but they sent them out with my current address printed on them.
I've raided my document draw and there's nothing that dates back almost 10 years in my name and due to my Illness, I practically didn't exist.
So out of desperation, is there any official place or body that I can contact that would have held information on me and my address in 2010? I was claiming employment and support allowance at the time, reckon that department would have a history regarding my claims? Isn't there some census or electoral information I can dig out?
Lowell have placed the account on hold and Experian have flagged the address as disputed on my file, just really want to show that the default is an inaccurate representation of my credit which was otherwise flawless as it's seriously crippling me and getting me so down.

What about your council where you were registered on the ER at the time?0

How about Doctors records for that period of time0
