There's no remedy. Go to your docs and get help.

Maybe you could find a support group for people with OCD? Then things wouldn't be written down. And you'd save a heck of a lot of money on unnecessary house renovations, etc.

Those are arguably not suitable jobs for folk suffering from paranoia...

    You need to seek help.

I had OCD and went to the doctor who was very helpful. After a short course of medication and a longer course of therapy I am 'normal'. I can enjoy my life and not worry about germs/dirt etc. Far more important to me than some possible future job. Please speak to your doctor and if they are not helpful see a different one.

My wife has had OCD (for about 15 years) and to the outsider it is very difficult to understand. It takes very many different forms. I would live to discover the origin.

She never had problems with repeated washing of the hands and she no longer has problems with is the light on or off but remains obsessed with recycling - she cannot get it clean enough to go into the bin. We have cupboards full of plastic bottles, tin foil etc
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Your wallet will balance out the OCD since holding everyone up, doing things properly etc costs more.

I am partially OCD in that I can't bear anything being left in the voids, I pick everything out and vacuum before the floorboards go back down.

I'd scrape it off the top, the only time it would be a problems is with a mist coat.
