Does anyone have any experience of Inside Track. Recived a flyer through the post yesterday claiming they can teach you how to successfully invest in property.
They offer a free 2 hour workshop on how to purchase property at 30% below market value, beating the estate agents, purchsing with minimum cash deposit ++ Their website is https://www.insidetrack.co.uk
Again this is not an ad just wondered if anyone had experience of this company and anything helpful to add. Thanks in advance.
Anyone at all heard of these people, would really appreciate any comments!

I get stuff from them through the post weekly, goes straight into the bin. No idea how they got my details but the flyers get forwarded from my old address and they also come directly to my new address addressed in my maiden name (I got married over 2 years ago and have never used my maiden name at my current address).0

It seems like Inside Track work on the fringes of a very dubious industry...

I would be very circumspect about this. The BTL market has been fantastic, but that's because prices have been rising too.
Also, read some personal views:

I find Google Groups very interesting when it comes to personal opinions... search for: "Inside Track" Property

i heard that you have to put a hefty upfront fee for any "meaty" advice, sounds suspect."enough is a feast"...old Buddist proverb0

If they can buy property at 30% below market value, why on earth would they want to tell you how to do it?
Because they will charge you silly money for the main workshop, by all means attend the free one, but be very careful, there is no such thing as a free lunch, do a search on https://www.singingpig.co.uk0 -
Inside Track were on Watchdog a few weeks ago, with many disgruntled "clients". Steer clear. I know of several people who were daft enough to pay these people money.0

I went to one of their "free workshops" on Tuesday (8th). Sounded great on paper however about an hour and a half into the "workshop" I began to realise it's all a big scam/con/trick to extorte money.
Firstly you have to go to a seminar to learn anything which will cost you £3995, then the price was reduced to £2495, then added you could take 1 person free thus making it only £1250 each. BUT in order for Inside Track to offer you properties under market value you have to pay..........ready........wait for it............ £5995. A one off fee. :j
The fact the speaker ignored questions from people who looked like they couldn't afford the fees OR that he had no idea that to buy a property you don't pay estate agent fees OR that he got quite cross when people didn't believe he was a millionaire didn't even begin to scratch the surface of their rubbish.
Quite often the speak, Brian, forgot his script and had to be reminded what he was saying from the audience. Then there's the 3 other speakers who went on the seminar and are all now millionaires.
One lady only went on one seminar A COUPLE OF MONTHS BACK yet AFTER learning all there is to know went and bought 8 properties in the space of 8 months and is now a millionaire. Hmm some maths wrong there me thinks.
Anyway half the people walked out and the other half stayed to ask questions making the speaker very confused and agitated.
My advise, steer well clear!!!!
This is just my opinion. Maybe they're not scammers maybe it is all real and they can make someone a lot of money. I for one wouldn't trust them just in case.My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0 -
Lady,
You CAN buy 8 properties easily in 8 months and technically be a millionaire - add up the values of the houses - BUT the equity in them will be nowhere near that, so she can call her self a millionaire, but shes only a paper one that means nothing!
And the inside track properties offered under market value are actually grossly over inflated market values to begin with! And their rent options dont stack up either. AND although you pay extra to be offered the properties, you also have to pay a finders fee for each property you wish to take (and if I remember rightly a reservation fee too, but my memory is sketchy on that one!)0 -
yeh sounds like a boiler room operation for properties
Still fools are easily parted from their money... :rolleyes:0 -
What I meant was (and I probably didn't word it too clear) she said she went on a course approx 2-3 months ago and from the info she learnt she started to invest. How can she buy 8 properties in 8 months after learning everything from the seminar 2-3 months ago.
What shocked me more than anything is as a "millionaire" she couldn't find a good wrinkle cream! :dance:My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0
