I had a recurring charge on my CC and when I queried it I was told that it was 'insurance'

Did this charge vary according to the balance, or the same amount every month? What was it itemised as on the statement?

It was only when I later queried it again, and after much argument, I was able to have it removed. What I have no paperwork for (and no clear recollection of) was how much was paid out and for how long.

If you cancelled it more than 3 years ago then they can invoke the time bar rules anyway meaning your complaint can be ignored
