I thought it might be a fun and exciting thing to discuss Jake_brakes world. Where all women can stay at home rely on their husbands to pay all the bills and do all the decorating and gardening and take the kids to the park on Sundays whilst Mummy cooks a marvellous Sunday roast.
Do you think they have third world debt or do the great pearls of wisdom that fall from his lips do away with that as well?
Any thoughts?

Gale, from light reading of this guys posts, I can't see that Jakes_break has any worth while advice to disperse to us laypeople. We are either lightyears ahead of his thinking or he is of a higher intelligence that can't properly decipher the principles and reasonings of his thinking.
I wonder if he has a mono brow and carries a club around and scratches cave walls at night?

If you have always looked after your 'women' how come you cant keep a woman? (The fact that you say women leads me to believe ther has been several)..Just curious. no offence before you slate me

I agree with Jake. Women should be at home looking after their man. I love cleaning and cooking for my guy as I know he brings home the bacon. I don't begrudge it if he wants a nap on the sofa. He deserves it!0

It may seem amusing to you, but whatever your motive i hope to god your man doesnt put you through what ive been through, from men of this type. I believe totally you and Jake are Trolls, but if YOU arent, just stop being so smug.0 -
I think there is a world of difference between being with a man who treats you well and he gets that in return, to a man who is just a bully.0

How very old-fashioned.
Quite astonishing really, just remind me what year it is again?
Oh yes that's right, how terribly silly of me it's 1907.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
I don't think there is anything wrong with a man wanting to give his wife the "opportunity" to stay at home and look after the children if that is financially possible. I do think there is something wrong with a man "insisting" that she stay at home if she does not wish to.
I am lucky to have reached a perfect compromise (well perfect for us anyway) so I work within school hours but the rest of the time I am home with the children. It stops me feeling like I have got brain drain as I recognise that for me I need the mental stimulus that working outside the home gives me.Make £5 per day in August= £100/£155

theres nothing wrong with being a stay at home wife, we both decided it was best for the kids. however i can assure you that we both look after each other, he earns the money but i manage it. running this family an household is like running a business singlehanded, my husband knows i do a good job at itand even though he works outside the house and i work inside it he still helps an awfull lot with housework there are more ways to look after your man than "tea on the table and slippers brought to him " and more ways to "keep a woman" than to give her money and a nice house .:rotfl:"that grady! won't sit next to a black child in church! but eats eggs, shoot right out a chickens !!!!!!" from fried green tomatoes:rotfl::smileyheaMSE is where my friends live :smileyhea0
