We're still waiting to buy our house so I can finally start in earnest with the Mortgage OP's! 20 weeks and counting now from offer acceptance to now. Our side has been ready to exchange since december!!:mad:Those who risk nothing, Do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothingMFW #63 £0/£5000 -

Waiting is the worst isn't it! There was literally no chain on either side of ours which is why I couldn't believe it took so long (5 months). I hope you move soon, it's horrible having everything up in the air. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £189,497.12Overpayments since 27.03.19: £53,964.80Moving fund so far £2500 - Premium bonds £9,5000 -

I should be used to it tbh! My first flat I sold went from EA valuation to offer accepted in 6 days and then took 7 months to sell!!
Thoroughly frustrating. On the bright side I have a money pot which is slowly filling with change that at last count was well over £100 so thats my OP pot. Those who risk nothing, Do nothing, achieve nothing, become nothingMFW #63 £0/£5000 -

#6 with my March update
I have managed to overpay to cover the interest charged, my direct debit to round up the actual mortgage payment and then managed to pull together a further £500 from selling etc
So a grand total of £741.43 which has brought the mortgage down to £25000 :j
Hoping we can keep up this pace
