  • Quick guilty pop-in:o We have both been vaguely busy - DH is just finishing the clean up in the newly decorated bathroom, I am returning the lotions/potions etc. DH has filled bird & squirrel feeders & has put various items into the loft. I have completely sorted 2 boxes from the spare room - binning, shredding, recycling, relocating items to their allocated place & enough items to fill a bag for the CS :D

DSis is currently in the air (after her month in France) & will be back later tonight. DH & I have enjoyed our alone time :D

Will read everyone else’s posts later but for now sending lots of (((HUGS))) to all who have need or want :)

Good evening chums been a very busy couple of days Had the day out in London with DDs ma-in-law Margaret, and we had a smashing day shopping having lunch and then afternoon tea and a good chinwag Its her first Christmas coming up without her beloved Frank bless him, and it seems to be really hard, as having been in her position, it at the back of your mind 'this time last year' but I kept her laughing and cheerful and let her talk as much as she wanted to and it seemed to help her a bit We do get on very well as we are a similar generation.
All my presents are now bought and around half are wrapped I have sent my donation to the Sally Army as I now only give a card to my immediate family and the rest of the card cash goes to help those who maybe might not have a great time over Christmas

We wandered into a CS and I found a really nice cheerful bright red cardi which will brighten up the winter and at only £3.00 it was a bargain

Today was history and again I had a lovely afternoon with lots of laughs coffee and HM cake .

Tomorrow I am off to my sis-in-laws in Faversham as we are going out for a meal tomorrow night and I haven't seen her for quite awhile I will take her card and present down with me and I know she has as usual made me a mini Christmas cake as I am the only one who likes heavy fruit cake and icing and marzipan in the family :) I will be home by lunchtime on Sunday then will be at youngest DDs late afternoon for dinner .
Monday its book club plus a bit of a Christmas knees up :)
Tuesday morning its coffee morning at U3A,Tuesday night its pub quiz night .
Wednesday afternoon its the U3A Christmas party and
Thursday I am driving up to Hertfordshire to pick up DGS Jack from Uni for his Christmas break,no doubt bringing home lots of grotty washing :)
Friday lunchtime we are going into central London so he can have his passport interview for his passport (my Christmas present to him )

Hopefully next Saturday I will be able to relax for the day and put my feet up :):):) December is always a manic month for me anyway as its sometime difficult fitting everything in I am glad my presents are all bought now so no more trailing around the shops for me .

I am now going to put my feet up and do some knitting with a nice hot cuppa and a mince pie. I made myself fish and wedges for dinner with peas so I think I can relax tonight :)

Hope all's well with everyone and the weather isn't too bad ,it was dreadful this morning

    Cheers chums

Went to hospital, spent 3 hours there, was not very happy by the time I came out. I have to stay in for at least one night next week which is not so bad but judging by what I was told, I'm basically going to be my own nurse which is a bit scary and a bit annoying. I have to keep an out for this that or the other the nurse might not come to change the dressing , i might have to go to the docs to get it done, which will be lovely after a major op, the bloody drain thing is massive and needs a bag to carry it round....And then they ask, how do you feel about it? And I'm thinking, how do you bloody think I feel? Very bloody angry is the answer....And rant over....
I'll be ok by tomorrow, it's just that one little thing that tips you over into the angry box....Probably didn't help I didn't have time to have breakfast so lots of it was hangry :)
House is almost tidy, still have all food to cook, so better get a move on...

Welcome back bella, sounds like a good time was had! Hope everything goes well with the scan dumpling...Put your foot down with a firm hand OL, being able to breathe is quite important really.... Doesn't matter if they live there too, they must know it causes all kinds of nasties and to subject you to it when you don't even smoke is just thoughtless. WOuld they just randomly inect you with cyanide because they live there too? No...And off my ranting horse I get...
Hope today has been good or tolerable for everyone..Happy pre weekend...
