  • Merry Christmas everyone

Christmas Eve already! Still have things to wrap!! Never been so unorganised in my life :o

Am going to do a full round up of everything on New Year's Day and then the 1st of every month after and set myself some targets.

Had a little sort out yesterday and have a bundle of Christmas clothes to put on eBay. Just wondering if it's better to put it on now or wait until after Xmas? DD5 (aged 3) is so excited about tomorrow.

DS2 had borrowed £40 last month that I had forgotten about (no wonder I have no money) but paid me it back yesterday so I've put that away for him for his birthday next month. I hadn't remembered it and he did which I'm really proud of him for not letting me down even though he could have and I would never have known :p

2018 has been a really really tough year for myself and my children. I'm going to do everything in my power to make 2019 a better year xx

Dropping by to wish you and all your family a Merry Christmas. Hope you have a lovely time. :)
  • Thank you teafor2. We have had a lovely Christmas. Feeling like it's time to knuckle down properly and get debt busting with more dedication. Not much to report money wise. I'm trying to be mindful but am worried that I've forgotten to pay something:o. I seem to have more money in my account than I thought I should have. Going to be extra careful incase I have and I get forgotten bill :o

Going to sit and go through things again later today. And start deciding how to tackle my situation best.

List of jobs for tomorrow (later today - having trouble sleeping with too much on my mind)

    1) meal plan and food shop
    2) finish wallpapering my bedroom
    3) big pile of washing - wash, dry and put away!
    4) bath dog
    5) look through finances and make a plan.
  • Happy new year :j

Have had a add up today and despite feeling like I was really careful with money last month I have only lowered my debt by £111.51p :o. I started last month with 8 debts but have paid off bt completely so that's 7. I am going to try to pay off cc1 by the end of the month.

    New totals are :
    CC1 £120.54
    CC2 £183.95
    CC3 £3237.82
    Very £1563.86
    Loan £256.73
    Fish £100
    Barclaycard £380

Although CC3 and very seem to have increased I haven't added to them. The interest has gone on but the payment has not been taken yet so once that's paid it should look better.

Spent time organising payments today and am on a count down to pay day:

    13 days to tax credits
    17 days to pay day
