Ask the people living in it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Sometimes a quick search on rightmove would tell you when it was rented out and for much. Apart from that nothing else you can do as its probably not even on rent.0

And hope that they tell you the truth
Seriously, that's the best you can hope for.
Worked for me with a neighbour. And they gave me the landlord's contact details although that took a bit more persuasion. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

i have noticed different people moving in for different periods of time. so assuming its rented but wanted to confirm.
neighbors not the most approachable.
i though maybe the council.0 -
Why do you need to know though?Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
Mortgages (End 2017) - £180,235.03
(End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!
(End 2022) - Target £116,213.810 -
Buy the title register from the Land Registry, assuming it’s in England/Wales and assuming that the address for the owner(s) is correct.0

i though i could speck to the landlord as these neighbors are not reasonable and want to avoid any confrontation.0 -
Lie. Knock on the door and ask them if it's rented as somebody at work wants to move to the area and you were wondering if they could recommend the best local renting agent for them to check out.....
Lies work.
Has to be somebody from work in case you get dragged into a future conversation ... somebody from work is somebody you can be vague about if asked... "how did they get on?" "dunno, we work different hours" .... "not my dept" .... lies... work wonders.0
