My car was hit while parked at the side of the road ( Car was empty)The damage was considerable but luckily for me a local resident saw what happened and left a note on my windscreen with the company name and vans registration number.
I will be forever grateful to that person for saving me the excess I would have had to pay through no fault of my own
OP please report this . Its so unfair that the "victim" should have to pay out when you can prevent that so easily0 -
Let`s just say more than one, and his name name should be Legionluckyduck83 wrote: »I'm assuming you're suggesting Deanston has previously been a member under a different name?
"my name is legion for we are many"
Back on topic, have you spoken to the police and offered the information,it would be the decent thing to do.

This cop off is hilarious. Nobody is coming out of it looking remotely good.0

My car was hit in a rail station car park. Someone saw the incident and actually spoke to the culprit who said they would leave their details on my windscreen. They didn't so the witness (who worked at the station) left me a note of what happened. the culprits car reg plus their own contact details.) The police were interested but it was only because I had the third party evidence. I am extremely grateful that this public spirited citizen did the right thing and the person responsible for causing the damage to my car paid for the repair.
Do the right thing OP, could be you or a loved one in the same position next time.0
