Is it possible to save a section of a news bullitin for private use by grabbing it from itv hub?. Family member meeting Duchess of Cambridge at RAF Akrotiri earlier and want to send to them.

With their written permission you can.

I don't seem to be able to do this, and the bulletin is only available till midnight today. If I were to provide the link for last nights News at Ten, the section required, covers the visit of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge to RAF Akrotiri and starts at 27 mins past. It's less than three mins long. The section with it, covers the choir singing. But the less three mins section cropped and saved, so it doesn't disappear at midnight, would be perfect.
Would anyone with clearly more technical know-how than me, care to create it for me please. It will be given to the choir and our daughter.

Could you not video it with your phone/camera while it's playing?
Might not be the best quality but it's a backstop0 -
The easiest way is to watch it on a computer and use screen recording software to grab the section you want.0

Screen capture can be a bit fiddly, but there are some recommendations here:

Alternatively, if the footage is available on either Youtube or BBC iPlayer, there are specific tools for downloading from those services. Those would be get_iplayer (for iPlayer) and (for example) OnlineVideoConverter (for Youtube).0 -
simplest way is post 4, do it all the time and with a little care comes out OK
upload footage to 'google drive' to share
PS. If using android the footage will be in google photos to share

Will try your recommendations. My daughter in the choir and outside, Kate stopped to take flowers and talk to my grand daughter, so have googled and searched dozens of media reports and viewed so many photo's. Oddly enough, the direct face to face photo is taken was taken from behind Kate, but it it a direct conversation pic. Then the best I've found with grand daughter looking at Kate's face, has watermarks. Shutterstock charge £159 to remove it. I rang them for info. My daughter (RAF) has asked for the phone number to try an blag a cheaper/freecopy.
Don't suppose it is easy/legal to DIY for private use? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
There are chrome extensions as well but i haven't tried them

I worked from post 4 and it worked, so I have sent it to her, then re-viewed itv and didn't realise I could pause in same quality, used FireShot to capture, enhanced in google photos and have a copy which they are pleased with.
Coincidently, she has shown the photo she would like, complete with watermarks, stating that the company want £159 for it clear, unsure if she thinks it will make any difference.
Do any of you know if it can be done? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

For Gods sake don't pay the £159 rip off charge.
Have you considered asking ITV? Try the FB page maybe and show them the pic so they know which bit to look at.0
