  • Just a thought, but I always try and list on a thursday and do a 10 day listing, that way, it gets viewed for 2 full weekends and things tend to get more watchers/bids - you can use the other evenings to dig things out and photograph them, but I have found that doing the above always seems to pay off

  • Beanielou I wouldn't bother with the film if you've already read the book not unless you are desperate for a good cry!

Miss Optimistic Thanks for the ebay tip, I might give that a go.

  • The ironing pile was tackled and is now brought back under control as you say the washing mountain now needs bringing into line.

As is the way with being a DFW not a great weekend financially:
    • Our main shower decided to work intermittently this morning. Great it went from scalding hot to cold every couple of mins. Quite a wake up call I can tell you. I've got BG on call tomorrow pm to tell us what the problem is..
    • My youngest feel asleep on the sofa last night whilst watching the Darts with OH and DS1. He managed to wee on the cushion and it soaked right through and out the other side:mad: . We've had our sofa's in the front room for 9 years through 3 babies and that is the first time thats happened. Its not washable either - so its drying out at present and I've bought shares in Fabreze since it stinks.
We are taking delivery of our new sofa's for the c/tory tomorrow. I'm very excited even though they are on the debt. I have quite a lot of guilt about buying them but as I have explained before they are out treat to enjoy our room again and thats it until this time next year - debt busting glaore.

Ebay stuff is OK. One watcher on one of the item i listed last night and a couple of the relisted stuff (which I dropped the prices on just to get rid). I take your point about listing on a Thursday but that nights not a great night for me with kids activities and I'm usually wanting to crash. I could schedule the listing which costs but may be worth it.

I'm going to try and list a couple more bits tonight whilst I have momentum and I'm day off tomorrow so I will get some bits done then as well.

    Onwards...........

  • Ok I'm on a roll with the mystery shopping with a grand total of two tomorrow (one a phone call) and one on Monday. Not huge but well on the way to helping with Febs £250 target.

  • I'm really steaming ahead on the MSing. Two done today and one phone call left to make plus two booked for next week. All this from just checking the websites a little more often so this can't be bad.

AIming to list some bits on ebay this pm.

Of the fun of debt busting!
