Morning all xx
Another delurker here. ( life got in the way again lol)
Hugs to all in need today and extra hugs to SO
Well we have finally moved into our own house which means we can finally put the ceiling deck up and turn the lounge into Santas Grotto for the DGD.
I have finally been given a diagnoses for my heart condition (only took 5 years) i have IST inappropriate sinus tachycardia. so now i can finally move forward and see if the cocktail of meds helps.
DH is happy as a sand boy now we have our own place and has been busy putting outside lights up and sorting stuff.
DD2 is still living at home and has passed her driving test and now has her own car.
DD1 has finally found a new man in her life and seems happy.
DGD started school this year (OMG where does time go) and she loves it.
So all in all things are looking up here.
OHHH almost forgot last Xmas DH got me a new dog who is the light of my life. She is a rescue dog and sticks to me like glue.
Well must get on need to transform this room into a tinsel heaven (or hell lol)
Much love to all xxBright Blessings xx0 -
Welcome back LONEWHITEWOLF. I have often wondered where you disappeared to. It's ages since you last posted on here. I had to peep at your profile to see if the same lovely pic was on there and it is! Hope the new med regime helps you xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. Good Afternoon
So very cold but at least it isn’t raining at the moment
DH & I are off out on the motorbike shortly - will drop off a bag at the CS & then head off to sm - surprising how much shopping you can get in a motorbike :rotfl:
When back DH will paint the bathroom ceiling. Then tomorrow he will put up the new light fitting & light pull + the blue coat will go on the bathroom walls. I will be cleaning, vacuuming & general tidying + a bit of cooking/baking.
Thanks for starting us off nmlc. Hope the day is a steadily busy day & not a manically busy day.
tru, thanks for the carol - sang out loud :rotfl: Really don’t understand why a regular internet shopper should be charged extra
silver-oldie, gentle (((hugs))) winging their way to you.
TA, hope you enjoy your Italian meal tonight. A little tipple might just set you up for a decent night’s sleep
camelot, glad you enjoyed the Nutcracker. DH & I are both grinches but at least it is less noticeable now we are both retired :rotfl:

snoozer, enjoy your day
Speky, you are definitely settling in very nicely - I applaud your commitment :T
-taff, when I read your ‘Tale of a Skip’ it was like I had written it myself :rotfl: The other problem of course is other people thinking it is alright to dump their rubbish in your skip  - this means you are under pressure to fill it in about a day
RosyRed, isn’t watching paint dry more interesting than ironing :rotfl:
Hester, hope the boat warms up quickly & that CHS’s appointment went well.
:hello: Suffolksue

I wish!! I have just fetched them in and they are as wet as they were when they went out, so they are in the dryer!!0 -
Welcome back Lonewhitewolf - you have been missed.
My neighbour has been with the venison which is now all in the freezer. I really want to put a shank in the slow cooker but I'll probably be going down to Glasgow tomorrow so there's no point. It'll have to wait until next week.
I've dodged the Christmas tree :rotfl: just had to insist that I didn't want one, neighbour took it well. Think that I asked him to make me three bread boards stopped him being too peeved.
The woodburner is keeping me cosy, and busy! I want to use up the 'too dry' wood before the bitter winter comes in. All the good oak and ash will burn longer and hotter so I'll save it all for really cold days. It's been raining for most of the day and I've hardly moved off the sofa.
My monthly banking has been done and I'm now reading. Work day tomorrow so I'm just enjoying some quiet time to myself.0 -
Afternoon all :j
TRU I cracked up at the Easter comment :rotfl: Our boys certainly keep us on our toes don't they? :rotfl:
Have been having a battle with new car insurer .It's a long story but so hard to sort out their mistake  Avoid Swinton at all costs
It's been piddling down again all day, so have been sorting stuff inside. My little Grandcat boy, who's only 9 months, has been missing for over 24 hours .The kids are understandably distraught
Am more or less sorted for Xmas now, but can't make my mind up what I want tl do on Xmas day.My Sis in Law has invited me n Mum for the day, so I might pop for a couple of hours
Have a fab night TA, n huggles to all the poorlies n peed offs today :A"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

welcome back Lonewhitewolf glad to see your return, I wonder where Ausiielass is now and how she is doing and also Caterina.people come and go and hopefully some of them return.
Had a lovely lunch with DGD Katie and lots of great smiles and cuddles with DGGD Erin. Babies are such happy little souls and smile gummily at everyone at this age. She has produced 5 little pearly whites though so far plus she is getting more mobile and has just started crawling around. I am her total slave:):)
quiz night tonight which is always great fun and I will get fed as well so no cooking for me :)win-win really.
Hope everyone has had a good day and the days are really flying by now I must make sure I have everything done by this Friday ,presents and family cards Friends cards I have stopped now as I donate to the Sally Army every year instead which to me means someone somewhere will have a slightly better Christmas than normal.
So to all on here I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and a peaceful New Year

Part 2 - we left later than intended & took longer than anticipated
However, we got everything on my shopping list with the addition of mushrooms, goats cheese & blue cheese which I had forgotten to write down
Filled the bike so I had to carry the toilet roll & the paint trays which was the original reason for going out :rotfl: The meat for Christmas is now safely stowed in the freezer - duck fillets, venison steaks & turkey breasts specifically for DSis. If we want anything by way of snacks over the Christmas I can cook/bake it
However we will probably buy mince pies nearer the time
, together with the veggies including ‘sprouts’
The freezers are now full as well as the ‘Brexit’ cupboard :T
Olliebeak, hope you enjoyed your Christmas lunch
dumpling, Happy Birthday to Lee :bdaycake: Hope the dentist was able to help Lilly, & that Bobby now looks very handsomeAlso sending you healing vibes for your legs - sounds kind of kinky :rotfl:
nannywindow, how productive do you want to be :rotfl: I was tired reading about your tasks  The ‘treading grapes’ brought a smile to my face - actually an enormous grin:D
JackieO, what a great day - lunch, cuddles, pub quiz, share out of wine stash - nothing more required apart from a large win on the Premium Bonds :rotfl:
lonewhitewolf, hi - lovely post :T
Organza_Lace, I fell off my sofa laughing :rotfl: By the way, next time please accept the offer of a lift
Gers, are you sure you had enough freezer space :rotfl: Bravo re dodging the Christmas tree :T but then I am a grinch
candygirl, hope Grandcat boy turns up soon - fingers crossed he has just gone for a little jaunt
See you all tomorrow. Stay warm & more (((HUGS))) to everyone, but especially Holly, Polly, TA & -taff

Hi late for me today I have been working most off today and after school but apart from lunch tomorrow I am free. I am quite organised for Christmas so far I feel like I am missing something though. I am going to Liverpool shopping on Sunday with a good friend who I don’t see that often as she works full time and then goes to the gym a lot not like me So I am looking forward to that0
