Three black friday deal

I just signed up for a new contact with three on their black Friday deal. £20 a month unlimited everything. I called their helpline to ask if there was a catch. I was assured there wasn't, so I signed up after their very insisting attitude for me to sign up. I just checked my three account online which says I just signed up for new contract for £32 a month unlimited everything. Anybody knows why it says £32 a month while I only signed up their £20 a month black Friday deal. Talking to them frustrates me with their Indian accent and don't understand half what they say. Any help here before I call please?

  • I’ve just signed up for the same deal, well spoke with their Indian call centre and verbally upgraded. You have a 14 day cooling off period if ordering via phone.

    What does your text message say? This is an excerpt from my text:
    “Thanks for staying with Three. You've upgraded to Contract SIM Only <SNIP> for 12 month contract at 20.00 GBP a month”

    Also what does the “My3” app show?

  • Could it be that a £12 payment is included to cover an overlap between an existing contract, or similar one off additional cost?

    Same here! One of the existing contracts resets the data/mins in 3 days, it currently shows the old contract data allowance under “plan” with an end date of 2nd Dec 2019, under the “usage” bar graph it shows unlimited. I think it will show the correct info once the old contract finishes and the new one starts.

    On the Three site, the unlimited data/mins SIM has reverted to £27/month. I hope the cost remains £20/month in 12 months time. It’s just like the old One Plan that was scrapped a while ago as being too costly for Three... that ended up at around £18 or £20.
  • Took this sim out last Sunday online Haggle them from £20 to £14 using the 14 days cooling period over @ three chat.
  • Nothing to worry about the price plan will update on your next billing date. £20

    The discount to £20 will only show after the first bill run, check when your bill is ready and it will show the correct total.
