I am looking for some advice as I can't find any info on gov website and can't make sense of the contact numbers.
I am currently employed but for the 2nd month running I have not been paid! I really don't know what to do
I really don't want to do another day at work if i'm not going to get paid but I don't know where I stand with claiming benefits if I choose to leave? I haven't claimed any benefits in over 12 years and not even sure how it works but I'm seriouly desperate now
If anyone can point me in the right direction or give me the right advice i'd be really greatful.

Is it just you or is everyone else in the same position ?
Is it a national chain or just a small firm ?
You can apply for job seekers but whether you would be accepted I don't know.
Why not apply for some temp jobs (as a backup) if you cant find something permanent.0 -
No one has been paid. Trust me, I am desparately looking for work, anything. It's a small private business

It would be ringing alarm bells that the money pot is either nearly/or is empty. Maybe Im wrong but as you haven't been paid you may be successful for job seekers. More experienced posters will be able to confirm.0 -
I may be wrong, so hopefully someone else can clarify, but I'm sure that I have read somewhere that you can claim JSA (without any sanctions) if you leave a job due to non-payment of wages. It is not reasonable to expect you to continue to work without pay. However, you may have to follow certain processes first - I'm not sure. Have you actually asked your employer to pay you the outstanding wages? That's the first step. This link may be helpful:
