I would say probably too big for a 5 seater.

    No, it's definitely five.

Ageing French cars don’t top the reliability leagues.

Daughter bought a 1.6 litre diesel Picasso, loved it until first injector failed even worse when the other three failed over the next few weeks. Dealer not too keen on replacing all of them so just did the first one, even more upset when he had to replace the rest. Fortunately Daughter took out extended dealer warranty, if she hadn't cost would have been well over £1600.
  • Thank you both. Anything going wrong with Zafiras?

(laughs up sleeve) have you not seen the news they have a habit of spontaneous combustion.
  • That'd add a bit of spice to ownership! I'm guessing they've been recalled and fixed, right?

Been a recall for a number of years following many fires, originally cars without climate control. This has now changed to include with and without climate control.
  • So if I bought one the first thing to check is if this has been fixed. Would Vauxhall have a record if a car has been fixed on this recall? Any other little gems about zafiras?
