A warning about what? To buy what you actually intended to buy snd not just grab things willy nilly

To be careful to differentiate between cellophane and paper while Christmas shopping. It's easily done - upon mentioning it to my sister, she has done the same thing before in a different shop. Maybe it runs in my family or something. Anyone else brave enough to admit they've done the same (or similar) in the past?

I was rushed, but shopping with someone else there, who didn't immediately say 'put down that cellophane, darn woman!'. When other people have visited my house, and I have said 'Oh, I'm all ready for Christmas, got my paper....' etc no-one said 'It's cellophane you fool!'. It's not immediately obvious.

I think the way the person posting this original post has been spoken to in an awful way.

I know for a fact les dawson was very rude and now the post has been altered.

You should be ashamed of yourself les dawson.

It wasn't even me who complained about it. Maybe they were just doing a general tidy up of the board.

I can stand a lot of vitriol :)

Is this the sort of stuff that you use to wrap baskets?
You know, put your basket/container in the middle of the sheet then draw it up and fasten it with a big bow?

I'm looking for something like that and a patterned one would be better than clear.

    Thanks

    Perfect.

I think I've also seen it used for 'hand-tied' flower arrangements...
    Maybe...

Aye, perfect for baskets or flowers. I have some wrapped gifts I'm sending overseas - I'll add a layer of this on top, to them to make them waterproof and safe from the elements on their travels. I also paint, and it'll make a great splash mat under my easel to save the floor.
