Scammed by gambling website - is chargeback possible

It could be argued by the card company that you got what you paid for ie your card was debited by £215 and your gambling account credited with the same. You were able to access this credit and gamble with it - hence you received the service and therefore no chargeback.
The fact that you can't subsequently and at a later date withdraw from your account is not relevant (they might argue) and is a completely separate problem unrelated to the card.
The OP had their account deleted in 2018, I doubt they’ll be back to read any posts now.====0
