PCN received with wrong location

  • It’s just a picture of my car. There’s no location stated
  • My defence is I was in Bradford and checked into a hotel. I have proof from the hotel who have confirmed what time I checked in and out. I was driving so had my car with me although I have no proof. My partner was with me so is a witness to this also.

It is not a picture of your car though, is it?

Look closer - look at the images of the numberplate and any identifying features of the car. It's another car and they misread the numberplate.

    It's not the location that's wrong; it's a car that's not yours.

I hope you filled in the form to at least get this heard at your local court?

Email UKCPM a Subject Access Request (see their PRIVACY page for the email to contact) and ask for all the raw mages taken and ask their Data Protection Officer to scrutinise the VRN as this is not your car in the pictures.

Ask for copies of the original images, un-retouched and uncropped and state that you want your data erased and the claim ended because they are pursuing you due to their own error/misread.
