Hi, talking of " fake " attempts a few months i had a text then an email stating an attempt to delivery was made, no one was in etc.
So as i waited in all day i was shocked, i phoned and said no one had called, leave it with me was his reply
A few minutes later he phoned back and said the bloke put a card though your letterbox and your dog was barking the house down.
Right i said you have delivered here before yes he said have you heard my dog ? no he said thats right i said cause i dont have a dog
Ok leave it with me, he phoned again the guy is new as he has a lot of work and he didnt know the area, i am very sorry can i delivery tomorrow. Yes i said.
This is not like the OPs as it was not food but an example of how a so called simple A to B delivery can go wrong0 -
Thanks every one for your replies. It does not look like it will arrive today, it’s already after 2pm and nothing.. I have checked tracking on my tablet and computer and it still says the same thing that I mentioned in last post yesterday. The strange thing is if I check tracking on my phone it says some thing different it just states parcel is being held. What does this mean?
I’ve tried contacting parcel force but they say they won’t speak to me only sender. I’ve tried contacting company who I bought food from and still have not had a reply.
I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday and hope company get back to me. Can I refuse parcel if they try to deliver Monday, as will be no good to me by then all the food will be spoiled, the parcel mainly contained, a special type of French sausages, garlic sausage, a special kind of french Brie and a kind on pate called rillettes that you can’t buy in uk.
Who is responsible in this situation. Do you think I’ll be able to get a refund from from company I bought from, or is there any way I can make a claim through parcel force. Or have I Just lost my money.
Any advice much appreciated
Thanks in advance0 -
What is the company? You cannot claim from PF as it's the sender that has the contract with them.0

The company I ordered from is Frenchclick0

I used to do a bit of work for them - I only got through half of my round before I ran out of time and had to return at 8pm (Christmas rush, wasn’t given any kind of training so just muddled through with no route plan).
Everything I returned just sat in the corner over the weekend, but the warehouse was totally unheated so you might get away with it!0 -
has it arrived, if so in what condition0
