What time do parcelforce deliver till.?

I’m sorry if I’ve put this in wrong place.I was wondering if any one knows what the latest is that parcel force deliver. I placed a order on line that was dispatched yesterday and sent parcel force 24 hr. it was meant to be delivered today, but delivery times have kept changing through out day, at moment it now says delivery between 4pm and 5pm. It’s now after 5pm and still parcel has not been delivered.

What’s the latest parcel force deliver, do you think I have any chance of parcel arriving today.
I am really worried as parcel contains perishable french foods that I ordered for my husband that is french as a treat, it’s in a special cool box with special ice packs that keep food cold for a maximum of 24hrs.

If parcel is not delivered today then every thing will be spoiled. And will have to be binned. It What should I do.

Any advice much appreciated

Phone the company you ordered it from and ask them when it will arrive.

If it doesn't arrive tonight I can tell you it won't be stored anywhere centrally heated overnight so, given the temperature, will be just fine if delivered tommorow.

Even if delivered tomorrow, you will probably find that the foods and the ice packs are still very cold.
I occasionally order chilled food (black puddings!) and although these are next day delivery, they have occasionally taken a couple of days and when opened, the contents are still chilled.


As long as cool bags & boxes are well packed and kept sealed out of direct sunlight, they can stay cold for an awful long time.

Googling Parcel Force delivery hours it states; Deliveries to UK recipients in UK zones 1-3 are usually made between 7:00am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday

I also forgot that you have to pay them extra to deliver on a Saturday so yes, perhaps you are correct and it will indeed be spoiled come Monday. I hope it does arrive for you.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Still hasn’t been delivered. Are they likely to deliver tomorrow as it’s saturday. I thought they only deliver Saturday If you have paid for Saturday delivery. Is it more likely it will be Monday now before delivered.?

Sending food on an express 24? I would have expected an AM service to be sure it arrives in a decent time.

TBH we use Parcel force extensively, a lot of it on pre-9 or AM. We are seeing lots of delays recently due to the large volume of Black Friday/Cyber Monday deliveries. Our local hub (Liverpool) is dealing with double the normal packages for sorting and getting out to the National Hub.

The place I buy my dogs raw food from uses parcelforce for their nationwide deliveries and they've really been hit by the Black Friday delays. Hardly any orders have arrived on the correct day, most have been a single day late and others have been two days late. Luckily so far it seems that as outside temperatures are so low the food is arriving still in good condition with no wastage

Well parcel never arrived and tracking says this

Your parcel has been returned to our depot following an attempted delivery or a problem locating the address. Please check the tracking below. Our driver will have left a card explaining what to do next where the delivery has been attempted.

This is a lie they never attempted to deliver I was in all day. I have sercurity cameras out front and have checked all footage just in case I some how did not here them but they definitely did not come and definitely did not put a card through door..

So what do I do now.

I’ve phoned company I ordered from but they have gone home (no reply). I’ve sent them a email but don’t know when I’ll get a reply. Not sure if they work weekend.

I've had a few instances like this over the years (in business) and some have been fibs, some have been avoidable but one at least was a collision the driver had. Don't judge, just wait and see what happens.
